Charleston Race Week at Patriot’s Point Opens Registration for 2026 – Celebrating 30 Years of Racing

The 2026 edition of ‘A Regatta Unlike Any Other’ will take place April 16–19, marking the 30th year of this iconic sailing event.

First launched in 1996, Race Week has grown into one of the largest keelboat regatta’s in the Americas and is a must-do stop on the international sailing calendar. Firmly anchored at Patriot’s Point in Mount Pleasant, S.C., the event continues to thrive with a competitive spirit, a strong community of sailors, and a vibrant sense of place that defines racing in the Lowcountry.

For the 30th anniversary, event organizers, sponsors, participants and spectators alike can anticipate potentially record-setting fleets, bigger shoreside celebrations, and the unmatched camaraderie that Race Week is known for.

The NOR (Notice of Race) and Schedule of Events are now available online. While the schedule will continue to expand as new sponsors and partners join the regatta, sailors can begin making their plans today.
