Good morning and welcome to Race Day 2 of Charleston Race Week! Seems the sailors enjoyed themselves at last night’s beach party - the docks are awfully slow this morning.
After being heckled by the light air/strong current combo yesterday, sailors will be relieved to hit the race course this morning with a little more pressure and the promise of a stable sea breeze.
Today’s racing schedule is as follows:
0930 First Warning for 1st boat in Pursuit Class, subsequent starts to follow
Pursuit Class Circle 6 Course Assignments for today:
Pursuit Non-Spinnaker - Course 1E
Pursuit Performance, Spinnaker A, & Spinnaker B - Course 3
1100 First Warning - Inshore (Circles 1, 2, 3)
1100 First Warning - Offshore (Circle 5)
1400 First Warning - 69F (Tentative)
